must obtain CADS membership ($40) for participation, but membership does not guarantee placement in program and should only be purchased after acceptance into program

Eligibility - Population(s) Served

Children, youth and adults with disabilities who require additional support and are unable to participate with existing ski schools ; volunteers must 18 years or older and are required to complete a Criminal Record Check

Membership - $40/year ; Program fees vary depending on program location

Description of Services:

Offers people with disabilities an opportunity to ski and snowboard with support of trained volunteers and adaptive equipment

programs located across Ontario
Learn to Race Program - for those who are more independent and have a need for speed
volunteers constantly needed to help support on the ski hill, with program administration and on Board of Directors

Programs held at:

Sault Ste Marie (Searchmont), Haliburton (Sir Sam's), Barrie (The Heights), Barrie (Snow Valley), Caledon (CSC), and Oshawa, (Brimacombe)
Learn to Race Program is offered at Craigleith Ski Club in Collingwood.
