Patient-centred care to acute neurology and neurosurgical patients
Regional Acute Stroke Unit (26 beds)
Hyper Acute Stroke Monitoring Unit (5 beds)
Neurosurgical and Neurological Unit (20 beds)
Neurological Observation Unit (6 beds)
Epilepsy monitoring unit for investigation of patients for complex epilepsy, including epilepsy surgery, aid in diagnosis of epilepsy and other related conditions * evaluates patients for other types of treatment, including trials of anti-epileptic medications (10 beds)
Acute Care General Neurology and Neurosurgical Unit
Acute care general neurology and neurosurgical beds provide care for stroke, stroke prevention, complex epilepsy surgery, brain aneurysm treatment, and degenerative and neuromuscular disorders (including ALS, MS, and Parkinsons)
