Description of Services:

Multidisciplinary team of obstetricians/gynecologists, pediatricians, midwives and health care providers

Unit features:

7 labour and delivery rooms
6 postpartum rooms
3 triage beds
Quiet room and waiting room for the comfort, privacy and inclusion of family members
Wavecare Sensory Delivery Room (first come, first serve)
whirlpool tubs
24/7 anesthesiology coverage
two support persons allowed

Breastfeeding support available 24 hours a day, call 519-272-8232 to receive support from the staff on the Maternal Child Unit

Obstetrics Inpatient care for pregnant women or new mothers
