Group exercise and falls prevention classes for older adults and people with mobility issues and chronic conditions * aims to improve strength and balance to prevent injury and falls
Classes are instructed by volunteers and staff trained in Seniors Fitness Instructor Course through the Canadian Centre for Activity and Aging
There are five levels of classes:
- Level One - Tiered Exercise Program
- Level Two - Light Gentle Fitness Class
- Level Three - Light Fitness Class
- Level Four - Moderate Fitness Class
- Level Five - Vigorous Fitness Class
