Description of Services:
Income and employment supports, social and community services and programs, including Ontario Works, Ontario Disability Support Program and the Family Responsibility Office

Develops and implements policies * runs programs and service delivery system with the intent to help children have the best start in life * helps families by making it easier to access services which they need for their children * programs are designed to help youth to become productive adults

  • Adoptions in Ontario Adoption information services to adopted adults (18 years or over) and eligible birth family members
  •  
  • Family Responsibility Office Administers and enforces court orders for child and spousal support
  •  
  • Passport Program Assists adults aged 18 and older with a developmental disability to live as independently as possible and participate within their communities * people with a developmental disability (or their families) can apply for funding and supports for their personal development and growth
  •  
  • Welfare Fraud Hotline Hotline for the public to report suspected cases for all social assistance programs
