Comprehensive employment and job search services. Assessment of skills, interests, and experience. Job search strategies, including resume preparation. Information about careers and occupations, local labor market, employment, and training opportunities. On-the-job training, work experience. Help in maintaining employment. Information and referral to other employment and community services

Better Jobs Ontario - skills training and financial support for laid-off workers

Services for employers - help in identifying human resource skills requirements, matching of workplace needs to workers' skills, capabilities, interests and experience, and support for developing on-the-job training plans and monitoring of placements to support retention

Reach for Success program is available to support youth ages 15-30, who are not currently in full-time education to gain the skills required to experience success in the workplace. Program includes: 120 hours of paid Online Job Readiness Workshops, Virtual Employment Counselling Support, Opportunity to complete training in WHMIS, Safe Food Handling and Smart Serve, an 8 week Paid Work Placement, and a $750 Bonus for individuals who complete all components of the program

Skills Upgrading program helps upgrade skills for employment, apprenticeship or college, get ready for high school credits, and learn new skills to improve well-being. In the program, participants will work on lessons at their own pace, with the help of a Literacy Practitioner. Lessons are specific to participant goals and will build confidence with reading, writing, math, digital technology, and workplace essential skills

    Job Matching, Placement and Incentives (JMPI) - Supports employers to offset training and hiring costs while assisting job seekers gain experience and skills

    Better Jobs Ontario - Financial support to eligible laid-off workers to upgrade their skills for employment * can provide up to $28,000 to support tuition, travel, books, and other training-related costs * funds may be available for people with disabilities and people who need help to pay for academic upgrading, the costs of living away from home, or child care * training must lead to certificate or diploma * can be part-time or online

    Apprenticeship Scholarship - $1000 to support individuals who require upgrading to meet academic eligibility for apprenticeship training * $2000 Apprenticeship Employer Signing Bonus available to eligible employers

    Reach for Success - Provides 4 week paid employability skills workshop series followed by 8 weeks of paid work experience for youth 15-30, out of school to gain workplace skills and experience * must be eligible to work in Canada
