- To discuss using case scenarios the posterior circulation stroke syndromes focusing on various symptomatology, how to recognize and identify and assess these syndromes to promote timely access to intervention.
- To discuss the hyperacute assessment and diagnostic workup for posterior circulation strokes.
- To discuss the Canadian Stroke Best Practice Recommendations for the Hyperacute treatment of posterior circulation strokes with thrombolysis and mechanical thrombectomy.

- Primary Care and Advanced Care Paramedics
- Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and Registered Nurses working within the Emergency Department or Urgent Care Settings
