Promoting Recovery at the Bedside: A Virtual NDT Workshop

This workshop is for nursing, registered therapists (OT, OTA, PT, PTA, kin) and other team members (e.g.: PSW) working hands on with stroke survivors in Southwestern Ontario. We encourage interprofessional teams to attend! Workshop Objectives: Upon completion of this workshop the participants will be able to: 1.Understand the research supporting recovery of an individual who has suffered a neurological injury 2.Identify components of typical bed mobility and activities in sitting 3.Explore how to set up a patient and facilitate bed mobility and activities in sitting, to promote recovery in an individual who has neurological impairments.
