Ontario Stroke Network
The Ontario Stroke Network (OSN), created in 2008, is a non-profit organization funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and the former Ministry of Health Promotion and Sport. The OSN provides provincial leadership and coordination for the Ontario Stroke System by recommending, implementing and evaluating province-wide goals and standards for the continuum of stroke care, including health promotion and stroke prevention, acute care, recovery and reintegration.
Ontario Stroke System
The Ontario Stroke System (OSS) is a collaborative system of provider organizations and partners that aims to coordinate and improve stroke prevention and care across the entire continuum. Its leadership is provided by the Ontario Stroke Network, and it is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. The Southwestern Ontario Stroke Network is a part of the Ontario Stroke System.
